Necessary storage

rentell_consent: Cookie preferences, retained for one year.

rentell-booking:*: A booking reference in local storage lets you check a submitted payment after refreshing the page. It is removed after a confirmed payment failure or when you clear site data. It contains no card details.

rentell_promo: A discount code from a promotional link is remembered for 30 days.

Stripe provides the secure card fields at checkout and may use necessary fraud-prevention cookies. Card details go directly to Stripe.

Analytics, with your consent

rentell-analytics-context stores a random session identifier and campaign attribution after analytics consent. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity, at UTC midnight, or when the tab session ends. We measure page paths, referring domains, campaign labels, device and browser categories, requested stays, search results, quotes, control clicks, page taps, scroll depth, form validation failures, checkout errors and page performance. With consent, the session is linked to the verified booking outcome. Names, email addresses, card details, full referring URLs and IP addresses are not stored in this analytics dataset. Detailed events and session links are kept for up to 90 days; aggregate daily statistics without session or booking identifiers are retained for historical comparisons. The functional rentell_internal preference marks internal testing for 30 days so it can be excluded from reports. Necessary transaction records are kept separately to operate and reconcile bookings.

Marketing, with your consent

Meta Pixel and Conversions API measure advertising activity and completed paid bookings. Meta may use _fbp and _fbc cookies, typically for 90 days. Marketing consent is required before these tracking events are sent.
